Witnessed a crime

Have you ever witnessed a crime take place?

What was the crime?

Did you do anything about it?

In person, no. Which I'm grateful for. I don't want to be bothered by such things.

I've seen my former sister in law break a lot of laws like drug possession, child abuse, and stealing. I also believe she has connections with 3 different male police officers in town when she was living in my area. It's a long long story and she's done a lot of bad things to me. The good thing about my divorce is that I never have to deal with her.

I know people who have committed crimes and done bad things. I don't recall seeing them do it.....I just heard about it after the fact.

For a second, I thought I had never witnessed a crime but I just remembered one.

I was at a bus stop and there was a shop nearby that had its charity collection tin stolen by some guy. Wasn't even a risky job, the guy just walked in there and took it. Obviously, no one wanted to risk their life for a charity tin.

I was in Kohl’s one morning shopping when I saw a woman walk out with an armload of jeans. I didn’t do anything because she was spotted by an employee.

I was standing a crowded train station and one women got down from the bus to board the train. As she was getting down with her cellphone someone grabbed it and quick vanished into the crowd.

None were able to do anything about it.

Yes. I witnessed somebody being assaulted by a gang of youths in our local bus station. I ended up calling the police (999) to make a report and get police/medical assistance ASAP.

I had witnessed a shootout before. I cannot say it is acrime because he was killed by the policemen in my city. He is a wanted individual.
