What's the worst way you have ever been woken up?

When I was in Elementary school, in the morning my mom used to always wake me up. If I didn't wake up within 5 minutes, she'd spray water in my face until I did.

Sorry but that made me giggle. Did it work?

I was woken up by my fire alarms blasting. To make a long story short: There was no fire. One of the alarms was faulty and set off the other ones. Had to unplug them all and wait for a repairman to come.

When I didn't wake up from school, my mother used to throw cold water on my face at 6:30am. Geez, it was a pain! I used to scream and fight with her about it. I would totally do that to my child..but I wouldn't want to hear them yell at me. I mean, COLD WATER? I would have accepted warm water instead!

So when I was in the Navy, we would do what is called General Quarters. This is when we report to our battlestations well this has a specific sound associated with it (I have attached it below) I had a friend that I lived with who thought it would be funny to wake me this way. So one morning he did and I was half way dressed before I realized I wasn't on the ship hahahaha it was funny.

To the sound of a gunshot in my dream. Woke up didn't know where I was and couldn't move my body for 10 mins. I was also laid in the position I was in my dream getting shot.
