Your logic is flawed. Without men, there would be no children.

There doesn't necessarily need men to procreate (ever heard of artificial insemination?) There doesn't necessarily need men to raise children (single mother households are quite common).

What is your intention here. Are you trying to make me look foolish for making such an oversight? That wasn't even the main point of what I was saying. It's not even my own opinion. Ever heard of that old chivalrous saying: women and children first.

I didn't say anything about raising children. Without a man's sperm, there is no procreation, period. Invitro fertilization, frozen semen, whatever...it all requires MALE sperm.

WIthout men, there would be no children. That is a fact.

Edit: sorry for double post. You can delete the previous post.

That is not a certainty, and it would be a LONG way off if it ever happened, EE. As things are now, and likely will always be, a man's esssence is required to create children.

So much for being done with this thread, eh, Dawn?

Not necessarily.

The day men can bear children, will be the day all women will be called to bear arms!

Seems excruciatingly unfair, because a woman can have children, she shouldn't be obligated to serve her country? Who made these rules!? Is it too late to swap genders!?

EE, if not yet already, soon women won't be biologically necessary for reproduction. Eggs from stem cells or harvested from donors combined with an artificial womb...

Great... neither sex is needed anymore.

Equality through science...

I would agree with the notion that women not being expected to serve in a draft is a reflection of their second class status.
