So last night the school had Open House. Its an event they do every year where the teachers showcase their rooms & go over how each student did all year + give the parents all the kid's art work and other assignments to take home. Also the band does a concert at the end. Usually all the big bosses from the District Office and the board members attend this event as well.
Anyway, last night one staff member went up to my night guy and nudged him in the arm and said Whats up? He snubbed her and told her to stop because the big bosses were looking at them. That pissed her off. She felt disrespected and felt like he was rude. According to her, he should portray a friendly demeanor and not be afraid to interact with her just because important people were in the room. Now they aren't speaking. Today when she was leaving she said Bye, have a nice weekend individually to everyone who was in the room EXCEPT the guy who snubbed her last night.
Who do you think was in the wrong?
Do you ever have any petty drama like this at your job?
