Would a pay email be more useful?

I've always used free email accounts. I don't archive my mail or keep it. So there's no sense in me paying for a server that's going to keep emails that I could care less about in the cloud.

I think gmail is really good at blocking spam emails! I used to have hotmail and yahoo and they were really bad. Wasn't there a paid version of hotmail at one point?

I use Fastmail it is amazing

I like it because I can create aliais so when I sign up to the stuff eg Facebook I use there name in my email lol

Interesting - ProtonMail is incorporated in Switzerland, which means all user data is protected by strict Swiss privacy laws. What about other countries laws? Meaning I live in the US so is the privacy law different here if I used this service?
