Would you live on a tiny island?

I sometimes dream of living on a tiny island, like in the Hebrides or the Caribbean or even Galapagos. Probably not a Pacific atoll (rising sea level). I assume it would have some big drawbacks, expensive, inconvenient at times, medical emergencies. I might have to have a helicopter. It would have to have fast internet. But just having the forces of nature and the beauty and less worries of civilization seems appealing.

Might have really appealed to me at a younger age; but not right now. :p After surviving an assortment of medical emergencies I feel too dependent on being near medical facilities.

It is an interesting question. I enjoy solitude and my idea is to live in some remote place with low amount of contact with humans (sounds silly as if I am not a human :P ).
But the peace island or any remote area could provide me are priceless. However, logistics for food are really hard so that's a downside. :D

I don't know if the Isolation would drive me insane.

…not without my family and friends, they’re the only island I would want to be part of…

No. A small island will be nice for a weekend or summer holidays ...living there permanently, mean less access to a lot of stuff...
