A story popped up on television just now about rip currents and young adults going into the ocean AFTER lifeguards were no longer on duty. Knowing the dangers including those currents, waves, even animals roaming around such as sharks, would you risk getting into the water when there's not many around?

I did a little bit in Florida the last time we went. There weren't any life guards around. But when I was in California with family, we visited a beach where the life guard wouldn't let me swim at all. They said the current was really bad and that I could get dragged out to the open ocean.

I am not into swimming in an ocean at all.

Nope... I can't swim, so I wouldn't risk it even with a lifeguard present!

I am a good swimmer so yes, I would.
