No, that's nowhere near enough to keep my mouth shut and I don't honestly think my consciousness would allow me to keep quiet if I witnessed a murder, regardless of the possible consequences to myself.

I'd like to think I wouldn't - and, in my current situation, I certainly wouldn't.

However, I've never been in a situation that would really test that (for example, if I was short on money) - so, until I've been there, I can't say with 100% certainty that I never would...

I have never taken a bribe nor given a bribe, In government circles sadly nothing works if bribes are not given.

Out of guilt, I will not take it. It is better to ask for protection from the authorities.
