You have to sign a waiver to eat this monster 8,000 calorie ‘hibernator challenge’ breakfast
brek.jpg

This could possibly be the most disgusting breakfast in the world – but luckily for any hungry Metro readers this monster is available right here in Britain.

Nobody has managed to finish the whole 8,000 calorie meal yet despite the promise of a prize afterwards.

With eight sausages, eight slices of bacon, four hash browns, four fried eggs, a four-egg cheese omelette, four waffles, four black puddings, beans, tomatoes, mushroom, fries, four pieces of plain toast and four pieces of fried bread (plus butter) this meal is likely to make the unlucky recipient very very unwell.

That and the 32-ounce strawberry milkshake topped off with a giant dollop of whipped cream (where’s the flake?). The whole lot set you back a mere £19.95 – bargain.

The good news is, if you do make it through the ‘Hibernator Challenge’ at the Bear Grills cafe in Congleton, south of Manchester, you will win yourself £100.

But don’t expect any help getting yourself to the hospital afterwards – any would-be challengers must sign a waiver form before delving into their greasy breakfast, just in case you end up, well, very very ill.

Owner of the cafe Mark Winder said: ‘Younger guys come in, and it is all men who have tried the challenge, and they look at the ingredients up on the board and say: ‘I am going to smash that.

‘But then they see it come out on the big platter all heaped high and start to cry on the phone to their friends. They give up after about twenty minutes.’

Twenty people have tried and failed to do the challenge.

Could you eat all that?

Finish it all and you'll win a plaque with your name on it!

Yeah, I wouldn't eat that much food. I know for a fact my heart would start palpitating at 2,000ish, and that's scary enough for me. xD

With all of the starch on that plate (bread, waffles, and potatoes) your stomach will be full before you have a chance to get through the sausages and eggs.

I happen to like black pudding, if it is made right and isn't just a casing full of oats and/or rice with a little flavor added.

I went out of my way in New Orleans trying to find dark Boudin, with no luck whatsoever in the French Quarter where you think every other food cart would have it.

Makes me feel ill just looking at all that food. :green:
