A local gym is always advertising on the radio..

They say: $1 enrollment!

But they dont say anything else. Sure it costs only $1 to sign up, but how much does it cost a month?!?!

Thats what I always think about.

We have a gym membership, but I don't use it. If I exercise, I use our treadmill.

Nope. I don't know why people even go to the gym. Exercise doesn't need to be fancy. Just go for a run or something.

I used to like going to the gym. But I have a pilates machine now. I just use that

Oh I am sooooo envious. I'd love a pilates machine..... very cool. (where I'd put the silly thing, I have no idea)

Pilates is a type of exercise that works your core muscles. (Abs, obliques, back muscles, things like that)

Usually the exercises consist of weird poses that you hold for a period of time in order to strengthen your core muscles. (kneel down on the floor supporting your weight on your elbows and knees, raise your right leg straight out behind you and your left arm straight out in front of you at the same time. Hold for a count of 5, repeat for 20 reps--each side)

A pilates machine makes those exercises easier (like a tread mill makes it easier to walk or jog)

Oh sounds so

.. simple

I started at a gym 2 weeks ago. It costs me 335SEK a month, approximately 50 dollars a month.

I had a body combat pass last Thursday it was quite fun actually. I think I exercise about 8-10 hours a week when I have a busy week. Probably would be around 15 hours if I had the time.

BODYCOMBAT™ is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.

My arms are still somewhat sore since Thursday >.<

Nope, but I seriously should be doing something to stay fit.
