How did you meet your best friend and how long have you been best friends?

I met her when I moved into our new house in 1972, when we were both 12. She and her cousin came and introduced themselves. I could have sworn she said, "...and this my cousin "Tommy", so for the first two weeks of our friendship, I thought my (lifetime best friend) was a boy.

Eventually, the titty fairy came to visit her, too. It was such a nice visit, as a matter of fact, that she was named one of Penthouse's "Pets of the Month" in 1979.

When my dad brought it home from the store. I'm not sure how long we've had it.

Me and the tv have even a somewhat psychic bond.

My best friend of many years I just broke our friendship recently. Sad but sometimes you just never know someone.

My ex introduced my besty.

I found strange phone numbers on my phone bill & after some investigating I found out her hubby at the time
was using my phone to cheat with a woman he was working with whilst my ex was allowing him to do that.

I told her all about it and we became sisters

Have been best mates for 30 years she just can't understand how I like forums as she's
so not into forums or the net for that matter.

I love how we can have a verbal hash it out then the next minute the kettle is put on and it's like we never got into any argument.

We've been like that for 30 years.

I don't have a best friend per se, but I'm on friendly terms with everyone I know. The closest I have to a "best friend" is my neighbor here who probably spends too much time sitting at his computer for his own good, and as such can't be seen outside very often, unlike me, who get a sun tan way ahead of "schedule", so to say. Heh.

I met my best friend in church in Sunday School when we were young. We became really close the past three years. So glad to have him as a best friend.

My 'bestfriend' who I have known for 20 years can **** off. Never want to speak to her again.

My bestfriends I have known one for just under 20 years I think. And the other I met when I worked at aviva so about 6 years? I have no idea. I can't count. They are so supportive, we help each other with any problems either of us have. Arrange to meet up, have bbqs, parties round each other houses, etc. great friends. Not like that other negative, leech, energy vampire.

I met my best friend on the first day of high school (aged 11) but she didn't really become my best friend until we were 15 so that will be 18 years now.
My online best friend who has pulled my through maybe my darkest times has been my friend for 7 years.

I currently no longer have had a best friend anymore. I lost most of my friends in 2006. People have a bad habit of stabbing me in the back. I have a bad habit in trusting in the wrong people. So I keep people as far as an acquaintance. Expect the worst, hope for the best.
