Why did you name you forum what you named it?

I have told this story many times before, but I'll say it again, for those who don't know. Marie is my middle name, and 1988 is the year I was born, hence the name Marie 1988.

The name of my forum is the name of the story that the forum's based on. I figured it only makes sense to have the same name. lol

Although if I ever get the sequel down the name of the forum might change to something to include the whole universe.

I called my site Toxic City because I have been using Toxic as part of my username whenever I registered on forums. So, Toxic City more likely to be my city/world.

It really has nothing to do with the whole toxic waste thingy.

A member from Hireem gave me the name Rapture as I didn't have any ideas for them and I took it. I later found out it's a name of a level in a game called Bioshock which has gotten several to ask if the name is in a reference to that but it's not.

The forum was originally called Headbangers Ball, then that made a comeback on MTV so i had to change it otherwise i could have been sued

Well, mine just comes from the word pleasure, but it kind of sounds like a porn forum.

I made sure to let people know what kind of forum it was. Basically, I just wanted people to engage in the positive things they like.
