Your grandparents

What do/did you like best about your grandparents?

Pretty much real family to me, since my brothers were shit and my parents too over worked and busy dealing with them to tend to me much.

Not so good and not so bad. I do miss my grandpa though, he checked on me when i was little but then our relationship got colder and colder as time passed by.

My grandparents on my father's side took care of us financially when we really needed it. We were poor and they weren't very rich, but they loved us and would bring over food and pay for medical bills. Every time they went on vacation they brought us back a souvenir and it was fun to receive but now I have all these little things that are shoved in a box and I hate to get rid of them, but it's not like they're usable items.

My grandparents on my mother's side we didn't see often because my mother wasn't too close to them after she moved away as a teenager. My grandfather was abusive and my grandmother allowed him to hit the kids so I can see why we weren't allowed to be with them.

My mother's parents died before I was born I was real close to my dad's dad until he passed away from a heart attack. My grandmother was a typical grandmother, always cooking and sewing.

I barely knew my grandmothers and I never met my grandfathers.

I never knew my maternal grandparents, my paternal grandfather was a good man who deserved far better treatment from his family than he received, and my paternal grandmother was a terrible woman. I'd better leave it at that.

They have been my illegal parents since I was 4 years old, I live with them since then. What can I say more than that? Life story on that matter Xd

My grandparents on my dad's side,I was never really close with them,but on my mom's side,I was always close to them.

It's a shame that have lost both my grandparents to death and it's something that is very common when you are very old. My grandmother is a very loving woman because she always love feeding the poor.

I never met my grandparents on my mother's side. On my father's side, it is only my grandma who likes me dearly, not my grandpa.

I only have faint memories of my paternal grandmother. I was told I was named after her.
