The country is impressive and beautiful, but I was dismayed by the culture. The older generations --say, people over 50-- seemed genuinely kind, and I enjoyed interacting with them. The rest of the people were a mixed bag and I never felt all that comfortable - there was an aggressiveness under the surface that felt like it was always a few moments from erupting. I had really been looking forward to spending a long time in the country, but ended up buying an early ticket out. That said, the food was good, the landscape was great, and transportation was pretty easy.
