Uh.... I have no idea 
My mother was working at the desk of the YMCA when my father stopped by not long after he got back from Korea with the Marines in 1955 or 56.
I think it was at school. My mom was 17ish and my dad was about 32. It could've been earlier because my mom's adopted mom was dying of breast cancer, and she died when my mom was 18, but my dad remembers my mom's mom being really sick and eventually passing.
For some reason, this thread reminded me of this song.
I have no idea why.
