Your phone's speaker

Mine's perfectly fine, I can hear calls just fine, so I never turn it up and don't really need to boost sound.

Yeah, but it's not enough for listening to music. Anyway i bought a portable speaker to manage that :P

I am the type that rarely made use of sounds and the phone speaker was not one that I would say that I need it to be high. I prefer how moderate it is as I am the person that hates being in a noisy place.

The last couple iPhones I've had have this quirk where the speaker will be louder/quieter randomly at different times, especially when the battery life is less than 20%. With the volume on full blast, sometimes it'll get quiet to the point where I have to hold my phone to my ear to hear it, and then suddenly it will get super loud again. An annoying bug, but I'm using my AirPods the vast majority of the time anyway.

I usually use a Bluetooth speaker when listening to music on my mobile phone.

I also feel my phone's speaker isn't working properly or I need to make some changes to boost it's volume.
