Yes, we've already had a thread like this within the past and I was probably even the one that made it but after digging through forum discussion for ten pages worth of threads, I decided that enough time has went by for new discussion involving this to occur. How did you come up with your user-name? Do you change your user-name often? Personally, I try not to change my name too often but sometimes it feels needed, even if it's not.

I've had a couple of names over the last four years so I'll just list the ones that mattered to me..

TGR or The Golden Role: This was the first name that I ever went by on forums, I don't even remember how I came up with it but it stuck.

David Cross: I went to an independent wrestling promotion and there was a wrestler named Chris Cross (I kept saying applesauce after hearing it), so I decided to spin it around and make my own wrestler name. The guy from the Chipmunks movie ripped off my name for the record.

Wes Draven: Eric Draven is the main protagonist from The Crow, Wes Craven is a director that created numerous popular franchises such as Scream and a Nightmare on Elm Street, I mixed the two.

Orion: Gail Brewer once wrote a book entitled Orion that featured a famous celebrity faking his death to get away from the fame however, he could not continuously stay away so he wore a mask (as a gimmick) and started playing for shows. This was written a little bit before the death of Elvis Presley and miraculously and infamously, it turned out to be accurate in numerous aspects of Elvis' life. Perhaps coincidentally, after Elvis' death, a character rose going by the name of Orion, and the singer sounded exactly like Elvis Presley, it was believed that there was two lead singers because they sounded different slightly and whenever the singer returned on stage after going to his bus for a moment, his clothes were no longer moist with his own sweat. (Far-fetched) Years later, the book Orion has been taken off of the shelf, and whilst I'm not particularly sure as to whether or not I believe any of the conspiracies it was very interesting and I had to pay homage to it.

I chose Jazzy as my username because...

This is the username I have always used.

I replied to a topic like this on another site and said the following On sites I am active on I use this, if I do a post exchange I will use a different one along with a 10 minute email. If this one is taken I don't register on the site.

I registered as slow ride on a site a long time ago (first site I joined with a username), but I kind of got tired of that (since it was just a song that I didn't even like that much >.>) and added Master to the beginning. Then like two days later I took out the slow part.

(:

I also use Xefon occasionally (more for games and stuff). Idk where I got that, it just popped up in my head and I thought it sounded cool.

BrydoRX is a combination of two things... Brydo is a nickname I was given in school (as Bryan is my first name) and RX are just two letters I like the look of together

Word I made up while making fun of my friend who thought he was a gangsta.

He asked me what time I got off work and I said Nine Nebulous instead of Nine Thirty (mocking the way he talks).

So.. Basically my name means Thirty.

I honestly don't really recall why I picked the name I use. This is the only name I use on forums as it's a way of giving myself some sort of identity plus it makes it easier for people to find me that I might have lost contact with over the years.

the first forum i ever joined about 7 years ago..............didnt think i would be there very long...........so didnt pay much attention to thinking of a username.........i was reading a lot of Larry Niven novels and one of his main charectars is called Beowulf Shaeffer so used that.................was on that forum til it closed earlier this year....hit over 65k posts

since then i have always used it as a username apart from a few where i have used kikuchiyu..........nave of the charectar played by toshiro mifune in one of my fave films.......7 samurai by akira kurosawa......one of the greatest directors ever............even lucas and speilberg admit they are amateurs compared to kurosawa

BloodBlackRosez- I don't know, I made it up around 7 years ago and I don't remember why but I did.

Minute2Midnight7- Because Linkin Park is my favorite band and I liked the name of the cd.

Oh let's see..

There's a few usernames I wouldn't want to share, but..

Luigi1632:At one time I went through Hard difficulty with Luigi in SSB64 and my favorite numbers consist of 8. Dropped the username, because I ruined it, with stupidity on another forum. Still in use on Advertise Hotspot.

Saohc:Was Chaos backwards(Soahc), but I misspelled it, when registering on a forum and it became Saohc. Still use this on some forums

James:I use this on my own forum and a few others. Created as a result of playing Silent Hill 2.

Permanently dropped usernames

LucasX3:Created as a result of favoring a unused video game boss. Permanently dropped, because I ruined it with stupidity on a different forum

Blooper45Used it only on one forum. Dropped it, after being banned from said forum.
