Anyway, I've never been in a job (yet) but if I got fired I would like to know why, rather than just some disgruntled employer saying "YOU'RE FIRED!" at my face. Also Stormrider, what was the reason you got fired from a forum position? Just curious.

Apparently I was to lazy and didn't do enough. But was busy with work, then I got made redundant but to late.

Yeah I was fired from my 1st job. When I was 16 I got a job at a fast food place. I had no work ethic back then and didn't know how to be a responsible employee who goes above and beyond and all that stuff.... Anyway my hours were getting cut dramatically and finally I was fired for a "No call / No show" when the put me on the schedule and I didn't realize it.

I once heard that i was going to get fired from one of my first jobs so i marched in and told them that l quit. All my life when i left a employer it's been on my terms.
But i haven't had that many jobs either.

I was laid off once, which amounted to the same thing, when the place went out of business.

Many years ago I'd quit another job because they were cutting back hours.
