Speak Free or Die!

Sure I do along with millions of others who appreciate what they created thanks to the all the historians since our founding who have been studying the tens of thousands of pages of there writings down to daily weather readings. You could know our founders better then probably any other important figures in our past thanks to theres and others meticulous journals.

reading diaries doesn't make you know who they were and who they were associated with...

everyone has secrets... ;)

Sure it does. Because first people put there dreams to the things they fear most. You read the peoples diairies that were closest in there lives like loved ones to the soldiers who spent years together day in and day out. Yes you can very clearly know who they are.

okay, who were the founder's favorite color? did they know powerful people from europe? if so who and what did they do? how did they plan? who did they plan with in secret? what were said by those people in secret? who did they know? how did they know them? what as it like for them to eat and drink? how did they use the "rest rooms"? who were in charge in the america's and in europe before during and after the signing of the bill of rights and the constitution? what were their best forms of travel?

What you think my words mean is not my problem it is the obvious tactics to try and silence those words that is.

not a tactic, the truth... every time you get proven wrong you go in denial mode...

it's not my fault that i have to be the one that lets you know...

Well I am waiting for you to ever prove me wrong. So you really have not let me know anything except some silly opinion.

okay, who were the founder's favorite color?

Not exactly something I ever cared about but If you want to research such a thing yes you could find there favorite color, favorite hat, favorite clothes, favorite food. But since I have read about George Washington and John Adams the most as my two favorites I can tell you it was probably a dark blue for Washington since it was the main color he used in his uniforms. And you would more then likely find that favorite color in Abagail Adams diaries if that was a burning question for.

did they know powerful people from europe?

Some most certainly did. I am sure you know the travels of Benjamin and Adams.

if so who and what did they do?

Franklin spent many years in Britian and France. He knew the most powerful politicians and scientists of there time. And King Louis XVI told all the world that France was the friend of the American Colonies and would help them in their fight for independence.

how did they plan?

Need to be more specific but when Madison was creating the Constitution he corresponded with Jefferson in France for quite some time on designing the constitution and what would be in it.

You can read daily reports from Washington on how and why he stopped trying to grow tobacco on his land and switched to other crops. You can read his decision making on how he planned his battles and how he ran his presidency.

who did they plan with in secret?

Jefferson planned in secret with Madison. There is writings in Madisons and Jeffersons journals on how they planned to beat Washington's and Adams agendas when they were president. We know they had secret identities when they wrote letters to the newspapers because Jefferson constantly disagreed with Washington when he was president.

what were said by those people in secret?

Read above. One of Jeffersons and Madisons get togethers they took a vacation going up river on the guise of discovering new plant life but it was to plan strategy. You can read the Life of Jefferson and get all the details if you like.

who did they know?

Need more specifics, but John Adams wrote about his college friends and many years later in elderly years he wrote about the sadness of many them recently passing away.

how did they know them?

Again more specifics, but all the founders talk about lost friends, loves and family they knew from some part of there past.

what as it like for them to eat and drink?

Washington complained in his journals on many occasions the loss of his teeth and the many different dentists he had over his years trying to fit him with comfortable dentures for eating and wearing all day.

how did they use the "rest rooms"?

When? During the war Washington made orders soon into his command to stop digging latrines near fresh bodies of water because it was believed to cause disease. He set strict guidelines on where and how deep theses latrines should be for the troops. Otherwise at his home they were outside. The standard was 500 paces from where you live.

Jefferson had three of them built in his home. From a letter from Jefferson April 24, 1802 informing James Oldham, "I would much rather have the 2d. and 3d. air-closets finished before any thing else, because it will be very disagreeable working in them after even one of them begins to be in use."

who were in charge in the america's and in europe before during and after the signing of the bill of rights and the constitution?

Now you are just asking common knowledge and getting silly.

what were their best forms of travel?

Horse and wagon. But Washington was considered one of the best horsemen of his time. He also had a custom made wagon/coach made in Britain but soon complained about the poor construction of how it was made in great detail.

Now since there were 100 founders you will need to do your own research on the others.

my point is you don't know everything they did, said, thought, planned, etc. or their secrets...

you basically forgot to mention how they were templars/masons, and how the french masons were in cahoots with the american masons...

I don't know everything my wife does, has done, thought, planned or all her secrets but I know her darn well. And it is no different for the historians who dedicate there lives to reading hundreds of thousands of pages of letters they wrote.

you basically forgot to mention how they were templars/masons, and how the french masons were in cahoots with the american masons...

Sorry! LOL!

you can read diaries, but you can't assume everything that's in it to be factual or truth just because it was written...

also, i'd like to see the originals to decipher it myself instead of just trusting what historians say and tell us what's in them...

just because there's diaries doesn't make them 100% correct...

plus my point is you can't know what they were and who they were associated with by reading diaries...

Thats why historians go, have and continue to go over hundreds of thousands of pages of the people who were close friends, family, enemies, lovers and more.

yeah, but my point is still valid...

and who are these historians? where are these books and diaries? can the public read the originals? did they get changed when new versions of them were created? were the words changed when put on the internet? who put them on the internet? do you really trust history as history has proven that things get messed up?

also, my point is people don't put everything in writing, especially back in the day...

yeah, but my point is still valid...

I do not believe it is.

and who are these historians?

Hundreds, probably thousands of them. Washington had several organizing all his journal even before he died.

where are these books and diaries?

I do believe they are kept in Washington. And you can read them all on line if you want to. This place would be a good start.

can the public read the originals?

I imagine unless you are someone who is a noted historian I would say no you can't just go in and start going through the delicate originals.

did they get changed when new versions of them were created?

No.

were the words changed when put on the internet?

Somewhere some place could be unless you are going to a trusted site that has these writings.

who put them on the internet?

Read above.

do you really trust history as history has proven that things get messed up?

I trust the writings of our founders. Since I read many books on this subject yes I do. What I have noticed is just that the writers have slightly different opinions on exactly what might have been his actual thoughts in a letter. And I have read some historians believe Alexander Hamilton got to understand Washington so well during the war that on many occasions under Washington's approval he would write for him.

also, my point is people don't put everything in writing, especially back in the day...

Not everything but pretty darn close.
