(Reddit) How Often Do You Abandon A Book?
Books are typically unique in that they require a large investment of time. While other forms of media like T.V. & Movies can be polished off in a matter of hours, books capture us for days, weeks or even months.

This generally causes me to abandon a book if I'm not fully invested in the story. It's gotten to the point that I abandon probably more than half of what I read. Does anyone else do the same? (Reddit user Dont_Prompt_Me_Bro)
...thoughts?

its rare for me to abandon a book but it does happen

im struggling at the moment with 'American Sniper'....its not the best to be honest, think its been hyped up too much

Not that often. I might drop a book for a while but I usually intend to get back to it eventually.

I am very selective about what books I buy so I usually finish them. On the rare occasions I do struggle I have no problem with abandoning them. There are far too many good books out there that I want to read to keep struggling through those I don't enjoy.
