The Doctor Who Fan Thread!

Skipping that quiz as well, I haven't seen the older ones.

Series 9 is knocking at the door, and I still haven't seen Series 8, nor the special episodes between them.

Maybe I should move to UK. :P
Or the U.S, we've got BBC America lol.

I wonder if the girl at the end is his daughter re-generated or perhaps his grand daughter who decided to go on her own to find him.

You mean Jenny, the gun-ho blond? :!:

Fun fact: Georgia Moffett, the actress who played her, is a daughter of Peter Davison, who played the 5th Doctor. She was married to David Tennant, aka the 10th Doctor. Peter Davison and David Tennant appeared together in a special mini episode called Time Crash.

Yay. :P

Or the U.S, we've got BBC America lol.

Hidden agenda you have, hmm?

Question: How many of the 50 did you actually know?

Too long; didn't read it all, so I'll just comment on a few of them.

5. The Daleks were based on the Nazis

Jawohl. Das ist wahr.

12. The Doctor’s regeneration was based on a bad acid trip[/QUOTE]

I knew that one. Can't remember where I got it from, though.
14. Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who, originally used as a code name

I knew about the anagram part, but not where it came from.

23. And she would have loved this clip of the theme being played on eight floppy drives:

I've seen that before.

36. Michael Jackson almost played the Doctor

39. The daughter of the fifth doctor starred as the 10th doctor’s daughter – and then married him

That sounds awfully familiar... :tup2:

EDIT: For some reason, the forum keeps messing up my post by adding a closing quote bracket at the end of the last sentence against my will, and there's nothing I can do to fix it or prevent it from happening.

@Smiley, BBC America has Doctor Who and Star Trek reruns. Just sayin'... hehe

Heh, nice one with that first image.

One of my favorite videos and would have been nice to see something like this in the actual episode,

Indeed. I always like it when the Doctor's previous incarnations somehow get worked into an episode in some way. :)

If all of them could actually be in an episode together, that'd be some epic awesome right there. Like standing right next to one another and arguing or whatever.

Arguing about what? Perhaps about which one has a bigger...
