Cosmetics maker Revlon has filed for bankruptcy in the US, as it says supply chain disruptions have driven up the cost of raw materials for its products. The 90-year-old firm says it has also been struggling with supplier payments, inflation and labour shortages.
Oh I read it and it’s making it out that the supply chain is what brought them down and it’s not true.

Sales declines were particularly notable in the company’s fragrance segment, where they fell 16% from $108.8 million in Q1 2017 to $91.4 million.
Revlon’s portfolio segment, which includes brands such as Almay, Cutex and American Crew, also saw sales fall 8.3% from $146.6 million to $134.5 million.
