Do you use food delivery apps (Doordash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, etc)? How much do you think you spend per month on getting food delivered? Do they ever get your order wrong?

Too much DoorDash going on in this house. We need to stop being lazy and make dinner or go pick up food ourselves. Imagine paying $50 for $25 worth of food @Mandy

With all the fees and tipping the driver …and it seems like restaurants charge more for each item on the app than they do when you’re ordering it in person.

I used Uber Eats the over the weekend to order some junk food from the gas station and they got my order all wrong. They substituted in items I didn’t ask for so I complained. Got a full refund and got to keeep all the snacks for free.

Well anyway, I think I should delete Doordash and Uber eats from my phone! My wallet would appreciate it.

I don't do much ordering these days but a few days ago I got a doordash delivered to my house and it was the neighbors food. This is the second time this has happened. I told the lady that she needed to adjust the pin drop on her app. She let me see her phone and it had her address entered correctly but the pin on the map was on my house. Should be resolved now.

Speaking of pin drops on maps. I remember I ordered something from a delivery app one time and it was marked as delivered at my house but they dropped it behind my back fence. Lol.... So technically it was delivered to my property, just behind it not where the front door is. I had to run around the block and go get it. Thankfully nobody swiped it.

I’m on both sides of it. I’ve used DoorDash and have driven for them so I have seen it all. I only used DD once or twice, around two years ago. I like to get my own stuff.

That's probably the people who don't give a shit. Not everyone is like that. You have some legitimate people who actually do care about the task.

When I was a driver, the thought of eating someone's food never once crossed my mind. Why when I can go buy my own.

I use Door Dash myself. Probably too much to be honest lately. Gonna try to cut down on that. XD It does get expensive.
