Desantis shows again why he is the best Governor in the country

I'm of two distinct minds here, Serafin.

On the one hand, DeSantis - this might actually surprise you here - was right to suspend him; if I remember, the now-former State's Atty. had pretty much said he wasn't going to enforce the laws in question here. That's a major (at least one would think so) ethics violation, so his prosecutorial future is pretty well shot.

That said, State's Attorneys are elected officials and I wonder why DeSantis didn't just endorse his primary opponent (or better still, strip his office of abortion-related prosecutions and let him stew over it).

I’m starting to think I don’t want Trump to run and would prefer Desantis. (Not that I wouldn’t vote Trump) He is much better on the podium crushing leftist ideology and and answering question in a articulate way.

I’d rather see him gone and just be done with it.

*continues previous thought* Now to be fair, I still don't like what DeSantis did here but I have no problem with it. Warren effectively said he wouldn't enforce the laws on the books; if he wants to do that, he should've run for the legislature instead.
