I like military time. I grew up with it, and would rather use that where possible.

but some people don't know it, so have to use standard time sometimes...

Standard time is easiest for me.
To my husband's dismay I like to keep the clocks set 5 or 6 minutes fast; except for the one atomic clock and computer clocks....can't mess with those. :D

Standard. I used to like military time, but now it just seems odd in non-military contexts.

Both, but military time and international time (i.e. 17 00h in Canada) are the same either way you slice it.

Standard, AM/PM time because its all I've ever known. The other system seems odd.

I tend to use standard as almost everyone will understand what I am talking about, whereas I have met people who are unfamiliar with military time. It is too awkward if I have to stop and explain how it works.

You just add +12 to any number in the afternoon (morning times are already in military time).

So if its 3pm, you do 3 + 12 = 15:00.

I learned that a while back so I can still tell time using military time, it still just feels odd to me :P

It might just be a case of me being impatient and not wanting to wait for them to figure out what the time is before the conversation can continue.

Ah i use both tbh.
Doesn't massively faze me if I see eithe.

I do usually say am pm if telling the time to someone in case they don't understand military.

Which one do you prefer using though?
