What does that mean? Like you sign up for a subscription and they send you new ink cartridges when you're running low? HP does something like that.Epsons with "everlasting" ink supply
I guess "everlasting" was a bit of a tongue-in-cheek exaggeration / take on Willie Wonka's "everlasting gobstopper".What does that mean? Like you sign up for a subscription and they send you new ink cartridges when you're running low? HP does something like that.

Not really. Not nearly enough to justify the cost. What appeals to me besides the frequency & expense of ink cartridges is the reduction in use/disposal of plastic, not only in landfills, but in the oceans as well.Do you do a lot of printing @passenger?

"Zero Cartridge Waste
Join the club with the millions of EcoTank owners who've already helped to reduce millions of pounds of plastic from going into landfills!"
That's pretty much where I am, but I guess my reasoning is that "every little bit helps"; in the oceans these "Plastic Gyres" are such a huge problem. Seems this 'man made' product never biodegrades.Hmm, well I throw out maybe 1 ink cartridge a year (thats how infrequently I print things). The landfills aren't overflowing with plastic because of me.
If I was a chronic printer, maybe I'd get one. For now I don't need a new printer.
It doesn't but if everyone recycled, every future plastic item could be made with recycled plastic.. Then we (as a society) would just use the same plastic over and over again for all time. That's pretty much where I am, but I guess my reasoning is that "every little bit helps"; in the oceans these "Plastic Gyres" are such a huge problem.
