Have you ever hitchhiked?

Have you ever picked up a hitchhiker?

Why or why not?

Never have and have never picked up a hitchhiker, just never really considered it...

Nope. I wouldn't do it or pick up anyone. Sometimes when I was walking home from work I had people pull up and offer to give me a ride and I would tell them "no thanks" and just keep on walking.

Never picked up a hitchhiker or hitchhiked.

However I have used Uber and Lyft which is basically hitchhiking. You're getting into a complete strangers car who could potentially drive you out into the middle of nowhere and murder you. Same difference, with uber you're just giving them $15 (through an app) to murder you instead of them doing it for free. :P

Never picked up a hitchhiker because I don't drive but I wouldn't if I did for the same reason as I have never hitchhiked, namely I trust no one.

No, I have never hitchhiked and I will not ever pick up a hitchhiker either. Too risky. I do not want to end up in a drum barrel chopped into little pieces and buried under someone's freshly poured cement patio...

Good policies to have, better safe than sorry.
