Actually he's not lol, if you watch his interviews, he's quite coherent and concise. Every time a new album or something of his releases, he does "stuff" to gain attention. Right now, he has this fashion show, and I guarantee it wouldn't garner as much attention if not for this publicity stunt. He literally is in full control of himself and enjoying it, believe it or not.

Tbh that and the fact that it's just a symptom of boredom. For example, you're sitting idle and wanna start up some random shit for fun, just because. Kinda the same mentality; he's quite well off and at that stage they're like why not? Fuck it, let's start a new social media. Just something to fill in the day.
True, it's just a drop in the bucket for him, so why not? Low risk, potentially high reward. Just hope it doesn't succeed because of how potentially damaging a platform like that can be.
