Trashy reality TV can be entertaining for some. What are some of your favorites that air now, or used to air? Trashy TV like Jerry Springer, Maury, etc is what got me into watching more reality TV based stuff.

My favorite that I watched is..

60 Days In
Any of the Gordon Ramsay TV shows
Bar Rescue

And yeah, so many I maybe missing I like which may or may not be classed as 'reality TV'.

Lmao I like how you put a preemptive disclaimer 'cause lots will eventually comment it's trashy and fake.

Anyways, Big Brother is my favorite and I think it's also the biggest reality show ever. Btw, do you find Ramsey a bit too harsh at times? I liked Kitchen Nightmares but he gets almost abusive at times. I'm guessing that's what makes it fun but yeah what do you think?

Dancing With the Stars
The Osbournes
The Two Corys
Celebrity The Mole

Hells Kitchen
Masterchef

Its all an act, hes a big sweetheart when he wants to be.

Never mind he didn't hit them, did grab one though. Btw, this is all real life, so him just talking this way is assholery. Man is actually tamer in his shows lol.

P.S. Let's move this to somewhere else, I just realized Kale can ban me..

According to this it's not at all staged. I swore I had read somewhere that Ramsay getting upset or angry was a part of the show/just an act.

According to Reddit user @mikethewalrus who attended a "before" service of the New Orleans-based restaurant (Oceana Grill), "very little was staged."

He continued: "I was expecting there to be a larger production team in there, but it was mostly ceiling-mounted cameras and 2 small camera crews, who were non-invasive. We were told to call the producer over if we wanted to send anything back, but were otherwise left to our meals."

Also one time he successfully sued a paper for libel claiming that Kitchen Nightmares was fake.

Lmao what? Yeah, I've read that multiple times too. He actually does act like that!? The video I sent was an irl footage from 1998, so I thought maybe that wasn't allowed anymore, but this is a wild discovery. I already found him too abrasive, so it's all coming from his heart..

In like the UK versions he never seems to get too angy

Stop clutching your pearls over Gordon Ramsay, he's a sweetie

in small doses, I can deal with watching big brother. it's meant to be back on next year here in the UK after a multi year break.

I don't like anything involving music, or performances, things like american idol or the voice or the X factor. they get old.

apprentice is okay, the guy who does it here is alan sugar and I quite like him

and then their's I'm a celebrity, get me out of here!, which to be honest, most of the times, features celebrities that are so old that you've never even heard of them. their are a few exceptions..

I'd quite like to see a version of I'm a celebrity featuring normal members of the pubblic.

it would be more fun
