What is the white collar crime?

White-collar crime is generally non-violent in nature and includes public corruption, health care fraud, mortgage fraud, securities fraud, and money laundering, to name a few.

Have you ever known anyone who is a white collar criminal?

Do you think the punishments for these perpetrators are too lenient or too harsh?

Yes, I knew someone who skimmed off the top of their business and got caught, as well as someone who laundered money through their business. They did time, but as is the case with all white collar crimes, it's never a lot. Seems the rich white collar crimes never really get their proper dues.

I think that the punishments for these people are not nearly severe enough; they are responsible for absolutely ruining others' lives.
