Fake tree because I want my tree up in early November. If I bought a real tree it would be dead by the time christmas came around. Maybe I should go buy a real tree as a secondary tree when it gets closer to christmas. That would be fun. Maybe a smaller one.
A lot of stores start selling little Rosemary christmas trees around about mid-december, those smell wonderful and they're fun to have around the house

Yep, definitely worth it!
No point of dragging it out of the attic.
Of course there's a point to it, its christmas time!
Fake because I can't be bothered to clean the mess or lug a heavy tree outside afterwards.
I have a small fake tree but this past Christmas I put up a real one, a North Carolina fraser fir, and kept it up through New Year's.
Afterward, trimmed all the branches off and chopped up the tree for firewood.
Mine is between being fake and not putting it up with the poll. We didn't bother putting the tree up last year. We didn't want to have to deal with taking it down and cleaning it up last year. We might put it up this year if we're feeling up to it.
Its like an hour of your day a month apart.
Or for me... 3 months apart. I put my tree up in November and put it away at the end of January
