Diego Maradona: Genius & Revolutionary

neither of our countries has done too well in the WC, lol.
We don't talk about the US Men's team either; the Women's on the other hand.....

And one of Senor Maradona's World Cups was gained through cheating.

No one should cheat. Cheating is a form of dishonesty and I hate dishonesty.

You're right, absolutely right.

However, it ain't cheating if you don't get caught and Diego, bless him immortal heart, didn't get caught.
Per the Tropes...
A legendary example in the 1986 World Cup quarterfinals was the Hand of God goal. Six minutes into the second half, with the game so far scoreless, the ball had gotten loose in the penalty area and both the English goalie and Argentine player Diego Maradona were rushing at it. Diego Maradona reached the ball first and swept it into the goal with his hand before the goalie could stop him, and the ref didn't catch it. England is still bitter about this, while Maradona is worshiped in Argentina as a national hero.

Hey, I recognize of them....let me think: there's Crouchy (Jill Scott) and Millie (Millie Bright)...... :D
