I thought I'd share the following recipe...

Peanut Butter Marshmallow Krispie Bars

-
These peanut butter flavored rice krispie bars are quick and easy to make without adding any butter. Plus they're quite delicious!

Peanut Butter Marshmallow Krispie Bars

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

2 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies Cereal
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 (10-oz.) bag Reese's Peanut Butter Chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1.) Apply a bit of butter to coat the inside of an 8"x 8" baking pan; then set pan aside.

2.) In an 8-cup microwave save bowl, add the peanut butter and Reese's Peanut Butter Baking Chips.

3.) Place the bowl in the microwave, and cook on "HIGH" for 40 seconds.

4.) Remove bowl from the microwave, and stir the peanut butter mixture well.

5.) Once again place the bowl in the microwave, and cook on "HIGH" for 15 seconds.

6.) Remove bowl from the microwave, and stir the peanut butter mixture well; until contents is smooth.

7.) Now add the Rice Krispies and marshmallows; stir well, then pour the mixture into the 8x8-inch pan.
Be sure to spread evenly with a spoon.

8.) Place the pan (uncovered) in the refrigerator for just 30 minutes, then remove, and cut into 12 or 14 squares.

9.) Note: When I microwaved the peanut butter and Reese's Peanut Butter Chips, I did this in a 1,000 watt microwave oven for 1 minute & 10 seconds. Also, these can be vacuumed sealed and stored in the freezer for quite some time. Even after 6 months in the freezer, they were quite delicious.
