My mother used to, I never liked it at all.

Comfort food.
Liver & onions w/rice and a nice, thickened gravy.....que bella!

I have issues with texture, and liver was...eww.
Aww, oh noes...
Never worked for me, but I understand that people who like it tend to really, really like it.
Its' really good, Gen, especially with fava beans and a nice Chianti....

I've had fried chicken livers. They were a tad chewy. hehe

But yeah, if battered and fried. :)

Can't say it's something I have ever had, and that picture doesn't make it look very appetising!

I don't like either and I don't eat liver anyway as I am vegan.

I would say that I don't but now that I think about it, I don't think I have ever tried liver and onions.

Anyone enjoy liver and onions?

Hell no, in fact it was that and spinach that the Drs. recommended my great-grandmother feed me as a kid because I had lead poisoning and they reccomended that since iron supplements might've been too strong..

So I ended up eating a lot of liver when I was younger for that reason and its god awful texture it is why I can't that shit today.. my husband loves it though.. and that is what he has his Mom make for him when she visits..

I'm gonna go rinse my mouth now, as this post caused the memory of how it horrendous tastes to come flooding back..

Have you tried his mother's version? Maybe she makes it better?
