Ugh, that's a terrible way to thank someoneYeah, my mother took too much her prescription medications a couple times when I was younger. Found her unresponsive and near death... Then she has the nerve to be mad at me after I saved her life, Apparently ambulance rides are expensive.

Oh noes....Yep, far too many. My own and others
I have a fair few diabetic seizures, they result in at least EMS visits if not trips to the ER, I have issues with chronic pain that require me to be admitted for tests and such, they never find anything, it's frustrating for all involved, but c'est la vie. I've been admitted when the infections in my legs ruptured with heavy bleeding and lymphatic fluid, I had an emergency where my kidney was swollen to nearly the size of a basketball and rupturing, I went into a diabetic coma at one point, simply woke up, got out of bed and fell on the floor convulsing, was out for about 2 days in total. It's been a fun ride! What happened?

Was there when my dad had a heart attack, was there when my mother had a stroke, had to rush my sister to hospital with some form of virus that I don't remember, etc...

Yep, absolutely!Always a curve ball around the corner!
Yes, a couple times. The most recent was late last year. Was having pretty bad ovarian pain that wouldn't let up. It usually does with Aleve and heating pad. Every once and a while it won't, so I called out of work and went to the Urgent Care. They didn't do any imaging since they didn't have the ability to, but I got a Toradol injection and went home to writhe in pain some more. At about 5:30 PM, the pain was so bad that I decided to drive myself to the ED. I was sobbing the whole way there and was in pretty rough shape. Since it didn't appear I was dying, I had to wait about 4 more hours to finally be taken back to a bed where they had drawn blood, etc. Long story short, I had bilateral tubo ovarian abscesses with the left one being approx 8 cm. I was hospitalized for a week and given loads of antibiotics, iron, and potassium IVs (had a hard time eating, nausea, vomiting, had critically low potassium so they kept me one more day). Discharged 5 days later with more antibiotics and a drain inserted into the abscess. Lost about a month at work and had to take it very easy since my strength and energy was shot. I feel much better now, but still having 'normal' (for me) pain.
Yikes. I'll bet you're glad those issues are in the past now.I have MRSA and it has resulted in a handful of infections, in one instance, I had my earlobe swell up to the size of a baseball and I had to have it lanced (one of the worst pains I've ever felt in my life). In another instance, I had a tooth become abscessed and swell up fairly large also, with that one, I was able to take antibiotics and do away with it no problem though.
For sure. I also had one on my leg that left a small crater from where it was lanced. Now, every small pimple, etc. is met with a feeling of paranoia (although I haven't had one in about 6 years).Yikes. I'll bet you're glad those issues are in the past now.
