Have you ever sold a forum? If so, why did you sell it? How much did you get for it? Did you regret selling it after the fact? Did the site go downhill after it was sold?

Would you ever buy a forum?

Never sold a forum. Had tons of offers to buy this place but I always turn them down.

I have been on a few forums that have been sold and they always die off. Selling a forum usually makes the activity take a huge nose dive into the ground.

I usually just closed up shop and never sold my forums. I will plan to do a database backup of my current forum if I ever did decide to shut down.
