Have you ever met somebody online but then taken your friendship offline?

Did you meet them in person?

How did you make that jump from just online to a more personal friendship?

I met my partner online but our relationship didn't develop online. We just traded contact info online then met up, there wasn't a long-term back and forth before meeting in-person, so I don't think that really counts.

As for meeting people from forums, that's never happened because nobody I post with ever seems to live in my immediate area. Even if someone I posted with did live around me, I probably wouldn't want to meet IRL because I like the anonymity of forums, meeting them would be breaking the 4th wall. :P

Only one person, my husband. Yes, we did eventually meet. Definitely more than a friendship now lol. We had common interests that moved from online to offline. We met on a roleplay site with our love of writing among other common interests. We talked on the phone, met up(lived in different states, and the rest is history.

Yes, that's how I met my first boyfriend. I would love to meet my other online friends, too.

Yes one of my best friends to this day.

I met him through BlogTV(Anyone here remember that :P? )

Found out he lived in my town.. Met him in person and been friends ever since. He even lived with me for a few years haha .

yes, when we met up we already had a lot to talk about because we had been friends awhile at that point. for me, it's similar to having any friend that you haven't seen in a while, so you make plans to hang out.. also, the even better thing is, he got into a relationship and I became friends with his girlfriend online, so double whammy in the friend department. I met her for the first time IRL when she invited me out for her birthday. seeing them both it was like catching up with old friends really, plus we were at an arcade bar which made it more fun
