Has anyone ever had or like eating at Golden Corral?

I love their buffet!!

Only one time, in Indianapolis, Indiana; in the early 90's. It was wonderful.

Buffet restaurants have died here.

When I was in Florida, GC was awesome. I live not even two minutes away from one in BR and it sucks.

They're pretty good; you still see a bunch of them across the South.

Theres one near me but I've never gone because everyone says the food there is terrible.

It's meh. Been a few times for different reasons, never left feeling like I've had an amazing meal, or really gotten my money's worth, but it does have something for everyone, so it suits most families.

Where I live there is one that is excellent, but in other states not so much. I really think it depends on location if you get good food. We've only been to the local one a couple times and the first time was for Thanksgiving and it was such an amazing meal.
