I thought about this post while drinking and no I'm not drunk (yet)

How much you need to drink to be drunk or tipsy ?
any type of alcohol can make you faster drunk?

I notice wine make me faster drunk . While stronger liquor not
I find this weird.

Hard to say because I feel like shit when drunk so try not to go there. Definitely more than two glasses of wine, which is the most I normally have these days.

I used to drink more often but that was because i had more gatherings in the past .

I think that I'm what's referred to as a 'cheap drunk'.

However.

I haven't been in a bar in probably twenty years, and then, I was there A Lot because I was on the maintenance crew for the hotel it was in... so I never drank when there!

I know when to stop, so I haven't been 'drunk' in ages.

Such as when I spent six months writing an in depth study of the Minor Prophets. They needed A LOT of BOOZE. Especially Zechariah. I think my kinsman of old HATES ME, but he did have a sense of humor about the whole thing. Booze is more effective as a pain reliever for the arthritis I have in my knee and shoulder than any over the counter meds, and has fewer side effects than any of the prescriptions the various physicians I've seen tried to put me on.

What do I drink? straight High Test Bourbon.... Wild Turkey 101, Ezra Brooks 99, Evan Williams 86.... all the way down to whatever that was on the bottom shelf I bought the week before payday. The only mixer I use is an ice cube or two.

That, and real beer. I do not want blueberries, maple syrup, coffee, or birthday cake flavor in my beer, or my whisky.

I've had that while on vacation the odd time. Too much sugar, really, given I'm type 2 diabetic now but one now and then shouldn't kill me.

I had a nice Riesling from Ontario winery Inniskillin at dinner yesterday. They give you a glass and a small carafe that holds c. 1.5 glasses so perfect for me.

I have no idea, cause I've only been drunk once - on my 21st. Did it for the "WOO HOO 21 BABY" experience and then didn't care at all about being tipsy or drunk. I drink one or two beers or a glass or two of wine every so often, but alcohol isn't big for me. Grew up with a dad who drank a lot and had drunk friends he'd take me around, and my mom also had her issues with alcohol. So their joint experience turned me off from it.

I usually do 4 rum and cokes before I start to feel it. Never got sick from it ever lol.

Lmao. It takes a lot of shots to get me drunk too. Same thing with beer. It takes a lot of cans to get me drunk. Usually after two 6 packs of beer I’ll start to feel it.🤦🏿‍♂️

I never used to drink cause i didnt care for it lol. Hung out with cousins one day and it all went downhill from there!

Hmm I can drink about 3 double rum and pepsi's before I start feeling tipsy. Though if I have tequila or vodka I tend to get tipsy faster.
