Snow looks lovely and I had great fun in it as a kid (and even as a parent of a kid). But then I have to shovel my drive and, yeah, the beauty and fun kind of get sucked out of it.

And after posting this yesterday, guess what I woke up to today?

I like just enough snow to be pretty, but not so much that I have to shovel.

Thank God, no. I hate ice unless it's where it belongs ... in an arena. We had a enough snow to make everything pretty and white. It kept falling through the day, but also got warm enough that it stopped accumulating and started melting.

This is what how much snow we had in 2011. That was the 3rd blizzard I've been through.
