Snow

Snow looks lovely and I had great fun in it as a kid (and even as a parent of a kid). But then I have to shovel my drive and, yeah, the beauty and fun kind of get sucked out of it.
And after posting this yesterday, guess what I woke up to today?

An ice storm?
Thank God, no. I hate ice unless it's where it belongs ... in an arena. :D We had a enough snow to make everything pretty and white. It kept falling through the day, but also got warm enough that it stopped accumulating and started melting.

I respect you for posting these articles, but this is really not the time or place for this.

*glances over at @DrLeftover and @KenDaGamer* Doc, I tried playing the slag Chicago game over on his board and lost; yes, bashing Chi-town is a popular pastime in some parts but relax y'all. We're here to talk about snow, right?

Anytime, as a lifelong Appalachian fellow, I love snow. What I don't love is ice.

The posted links were in answer to a question about Chicago selling everything but the snow.

So it was the "time and place".

If you don't want me explaining an obscure reference with factual links, let me know.

We're cool, Doc; I just didn't want you getting into an argument with Ken over the above.
All's square. @DrLeftover

@Webster Yeah, it's all fun and laughs. But yeah, on the subject of snow...

Snowmageddon_2011_(3).jpg

This is what how much snow we had in 2011. That was the 3rd blizzard I've been through.

I saw some snow a couple days ago while I was out of town. Its been a loooooooooooooooong time since I've seen any of that in person.
