I love stories like thatImmortal Hounds is an interesting read because you're actually rooting for the bad guys!
I watch it from time to time and read some mangas, but nothing like I did when I was younger.
How was it? the anime show to me was really "normal". Not a single thing i could possibly tell that made me feel interested in Tokyo Ghoul.Just recently finished reading the full Tokyo Ghoul manga series and Deadman Wonderland, now I am reading a collection of Junji Ito short stories. As for anime, I believe the last thing I watched was a re-watch of the Fullmetal Alchemist series earlier this year.
I really liked the first season of Tokyo Ghoul. Like, I really, really liked the first season. The music. The production value. The concept itself. It was a horror tragedy at the heart of it. I thought it was brilliant. How was it? the anime show to me was really "normal". Not a single thing i could possibly tell that made me feel interested in Tokyo Ghoul.
Oh, i see your point, that happened to me with other titles like "ah! my goddess!" and more recently, with the famous quintuplet girls... gonna give it a try though!I really liked the first season of Tokyo Ghoul. Everyone seems to agree that the show went downhill from there. (I actually kind of like season two of the anime itself) Thing is though, what very few mention is that the manga itself goes completely off the rails as well. I read the whole thing, and honestly, after the first sixty-six chapters (of the 143 chapters), I found it to be an absolute mess and it was a chore to read.
I did, but it was expensive and terrible on e-readers. I believe the e-reader part has improved, but $5-15 for one issue that I can burn through in under 20 minutes is rough. Not to mention some series are ridiculously long.Did you ever read manga?

iPads are the manga go-to as far as I know. Although without a second reason to own one, I don't really want a $500+ e-reader.My partner is always reading on iPad with some app. I guess its better nowadays.
