What would you do with the money if you won the lottery?

Pay off debts, buy a better house, invest in gold bars. Put the rest into some income bearing asset.

First, I'll treat myself a bit, then just chill and brainstorm how to make more money without burning through what I already have.

Save a lot of it and use some to pay off some stuff. Take a long vacation. I'm not telling anyone out of my household about it either nor would I do anything different like quit my job. Just act like it's Sunday and go on about my business.

Pay off my student loans, get a nice little house and a car! I'd probably buy a chunk of that nice expensive cheese that I get awestruck from looking at every time I'm at the convenience store.

Immediately get a lawyer and a financial advisor depending on how much it was. Then I'd buy a condo, nothing too lavish, and invest some, save a good amount. I'd probably quit my job and take a nice vacation.

First, I need to pay off my large debts. Second, I would secure a home and decent car. I wouldn't buy extravagant things, aside from an RV maybe.

The final things I would do is invest in a website and/or real estate to make sure the cash continues until my passing.

Set aside 60% for taxes.
With the remaining 40%, see how far I get with paying off mortgage. If anything left, either invest or split it between my sons or something, perhaps a week of vacation too.

-And Central California to bug the ever-loving out of OT's founder @Nebulous.....

Nasty drunk, nastier scene; but IMO, there should be no grounds to take away his lotto win.
They should be able to fine the livin' daylights out of him though.
