Someone should tell Baby Khan that when your competitor's C-Show (NXT) beats your A-Show (AEW Dynamite) something is terribly wrong....

Continuing from my post above, Charlotte Flair is to WWE women's wrestling as Roman Reigns is to the men's side of the locker room: the biggest freaking Creator's Pet in the history of the company....

Per the Tropes, @Dead2009,
Creator's Pet: Probably the most notorious in modern wrestling, rivaled only by her Spear Counterpart, Roman Reigns. Due to her father's influence and fitting Vince McMahon's vision of what a women's champion should be and look like, Charlotte has received and won multiple titles since her debut to the point it's painfully obvious that WWE is trying to make her a 16-time champion like her dad. It's made worse that Charlotte is highly protected by the company to the point that she rarely loses any matches, let alone cleanly (in addition to rarely being the person pin/submitted in non-single matches).

A better comparison would be John Cena.
There wasn't a female equivalent; the closest would either be Trish Stratus or Lita but neither of them ever reached Creator's Pet status.

Nowadays, yes both Charlotte Flair and Roman Reigns fit the critieria for being a Creator's Pet, the only difference being Roman's actually worked at earning his spot at the top of the men's roster; Charlotte hasn't, plus there've been genuinely better female talents (Bayley, Becky Lynch, Asuka, Ronda Rousey, Rhea Ripley) who've either seen their own pushes stifled and/or buried just so Charlotte can have more of the spotlight (and in Asuka's case, was buried)

Per the Tropes...
The criticism absolutely exploded again when, already being added into the first women's main event at WrestleMania 35, Charlotte added another accomplishment to her already long list by winning the SmackDown Championship a third time and breaking the record for most championships won by a woman, ending Asuka's championship reign in a match which not only wasn't even announced beforehand, but saw the champion herself come out for it during the commercial break.

This had the side effect of not only destroying Asuka's title run, which had already been criticized for being treated as so unimportant it was second fiddle to the Raw Women's Championship storyline on its own show, but also shafting four women from the SmackDown Live roster who were slated to be next in a #1 contender's match for said title, all as a means to make Charlotte shine next to Becky and Ronda. Although, WWE later confirmed that Charlotte would defend her championship in the triple threat match and make it a winner takes all match, which ultimately only ensured that Becky ended up with both belts.

Even after WrestleMania 35 she STILL continued to be in the championship picture, being given a SmackDown Women's Championship match at Money in the Bank 2019 and winning the title at said PPV, with the other women of SmackDown being completely ignored to the point that they were reduced to compete for the Women's Tag Team Championship. It says something that some were more looking forward to Lynch's feud with newcomer Lacey Evans just by virtue of not being yet another Charlotte-Becky match-up (with even Becky herself in-storyline stating that she was completely done with feuding with Charlotte). Even after she was phased out of the title scene, many fans were still irritated by Charlotte's constant presence on TV.

You said creator project and mentioned Roman as the male version. It wasn't Roman, it was Cena. Cena rarely ever lost and when he did, it wasn't clean. I mean my god they had him lose a cage match because he got distracted by a kid with a demonic voice over singing. If that's not overprotected, I dont know what is.

Roman even when he was the chosen one coming out of the Shield, was losing matches and feuds. Hell they had him lose the WWE title after a Sheamus MITB cash in on the same night. Who can forget him also losing to Shane McMahon. SHANE MCMAHON. The lowest Cena ever got was a bullshit match against Kevin Federline or whatever his name was and even then, THAT loss wasnt clean.

In terms of Trish and Lita....Lita was never given the ball in general. She'd get a push here and there for a month or 2 and then go back to the midcard of the womens division. It didnt help that she was also injured for a good chunk of her run, whether it be her neck or her knee.

Of all the people....per the Tropes,
X-Pac Heat
--Nia had a bit of a reputation for botches and causing injuries to her opponents, but after what happened the week of Survivor Series 2018, where she punched Becky Lynch square in the face, giving Lynch a concussion that forced WWE to call off the Lynch vs. Rousey match that the whole PPV had been built around and find a new SmackDown representative, everyone was practically calling for Nia's head on a stick.
--Jax herself seemed to recognize it with a tweet of "isn't anyone going to ask me how my fist feels?" WWE are trying to parley it into proper Heel heat by doubling down on Nia's "monster" booking in the wake of her smashing Becky's face. For the most part it did not work, with the crowds becoming even more indifferent of her presence (arguably even becoming one of the most disliked competitors on the Raw roster).
--Jax's return from injury in the spring of 2020 garnered very mixed reactions, with many fans still skeptical over her borderline reckless in-ring work. The criticism over her dangerous behavior exploded into discussion once again on the April 20th edition of RAW, when she botched a Buckle Bomb on Kairi Sane (a major Ensemble Dark Horse), very nearly injuring her in the process. The controversy about how dangerous and careless she is became so great that the company decided to ban the Buckle Bomb move altogether (at least from Jax's arsenal as Seth Rollins continues to use it).
--She also didn't do herself any favours by talking about complaining to WWE bosses about Ronda Rousey hurting Alexa Bliss in the ring. Specifically the part where described it as "standing up for her", which many decried as hypocritical in light of Nia's own history of injuring people.
