Do we have any hydrohomies at Discussion Hub? How much water do you drink and do you think you drink enough ? ?

I try to drink enough water. Sometimes i fail though :(

I drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water per day.

Well, I buy bottled water. I'm really against drinking from city water. The chemicals in it taste so nasty. Since the pandemic I swear they've added more chemicals to the water.

Get a water filter, it really does help and cuts down on the plastic trash out there.

Anyways, I drink mostly water during my days so I do drink a lot but most likely not the daily recommended amount.

Dude, i surpassed every record i had before. I drank almost 10 lts. of water today..

Over 105°F and 41°C!!!!!!!

Does that really help? i might try getting one...

I try to be healthy and drink the recommended volume of water every day; but, when I was using a personal trainer and they used the equipment at the gym I was going to, he actually informed me that I wasn't drinking enough water and I needed to drink more.

Will a filter get rid of that bad chemical taste from the city water?

Oh yes, very much so. We never drink tap water any more. The filter lasts around 2 months, perhaps more depending on usage. I got 4 filters for like $30 and have a huge dispenser in the fridge.

What do you see when you replace the filters? sand or something else?

Oh, maybe water there is a lot cleaner than here (obviously i guess), sometimes i see sand and various other things like weird coloured stuff or even the color of water is more whiteish.

I drink water as is expected, and for me to do that i have my water bottle with me all the time even when i go to sleep. it is a 1 litre bottle so in a day i can take like 2 litres which i think is good enough.

It all depends on your body and weight, 2 liters is the average.. i take 4+

I'm detoxing my body little by little, been eating junk food for a good while now and my blood pressure is going up :(

That can't be cheap. We used to do that as well but the tap water in London (well my area anyway) is pretty good so no point in buying bottled water.

Does anyone else use one of those water reminder apps?

We have one of the best water supplies in the world, and the water in the north of the UK is much better than the South in my opinion. It tastes less chemically up here. :D

The main drink I have is water, just so I can pretend to be healthy! :P Nah, seriously though I fill my usable water bottles with this stuff and I just pray it is doing some good for me. Other times I will have squash or sugary drinks, usually when I am eating my meals for a bit more flavour.
