Can't believe no one has beat me to this thread idea. Does anyone else have family traditions for Christmas Eve/Christmas?

My family gets together usually on Christmas Eve at one house and we open our stockings. On Christmas, we gather again whenever everyone is up and had breakfast and we open one present each in order of age, youngest to oldest, until they are all open and then we visit.

What about the rest of you guys?

We do and they pretty much went out the window this year due to covid. We did have a very small family get together of just my family, but wasn't the same without the rest of the family.

What sorts of games? This isn't solely about this year and the problems caused by COVID, this is meant to be a family traditions thread for the holiday in general.

We always open gifts on Christmas Eve and this year was no exception. We always have a nice dinner on Christmas Day, and cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

Yep we typically have them on Holidays. I prefer the kind with cream cheese icing, but my inlaws got the kind with the normal frosting. Still tastes good regardless. :)

My parents come up & spend two nights with us. We don't do gifts. We rather spend the time & money w/ loved ones. We have an organic dinner, play games, chit chat. Same thing we do any other time we see my parents lol

.
Well, what did you normally do with your family?

About the same. My family has dinners and we watch all of the kids open gifts. If I didn't have kids I probably wouldn't continue the tradition at my home. But since I do, I want them to carry it on with their future wives and husbands when they all grow up and have children.

The family tradition during this season is to have a family reunion. Now, we do not practice this because the evil relatives do not care about us anymore since my parents died.
