No, never happened to me. In my opinion, if it gets to the point that a boss threatens termination, your “goose is cooked” pretty much regardless of what you do. She (and co-workers) are likely to watch you like a hawk (another bird analogy, sorry) looking for the slightest slip-up that might validate their original disapproval. Might be time to think of quitting before you get fired so you have at least some control over your life.
You're into PC business? i wanna invest in that too, do you think it has some future?
If it ever got to that point, I'd make sure to find something else and move on (and quickly). I don't ever want to be in that situation.
