How many times have you had Covid?

I have never been diagnosed with COVID. I mean no doctor has ever officially confirmed that I had COVID-19. Even in the year 2020, I never experienced any symptom except one symptom of COVID-19.

Twice. Once back in mid/late July 2020, the second time back at the beginning of 2022.
First time was the worst by far; 3-4 days of the worst, most godawful flu-like illness imaginable. Second time was almost a mild cold except I couldn't quite taste certain foods while eating.

Still continue to suffer from Long Covid to this day (thanks, Wuhan, you sons of :censored: 💢 )

Were you officially declared or diagnosed as a COVID patient by the doctors? There are many other viruses out there that can get you similar symptoms and you cannot really distinguish between the two. Were you tested for COVID-19?

Yes I was diagnosed with Covid, the first time at an Urgent Care center and the second time by a home health nurse who did an at-home test for me, contacted my primary care doctor who saw me that afternoon and did a second test to confirm.

And before you ask, my first Covid vax shot was after the second time in early 2022; if I do nothing else every fall I make sure I get both a flu and Covid shot (especially now that I'm 50 and have to worry about things like pneumonia and shingles).

had COVID test once... had to test negative to get cataract surgery... to know it was ok to be in public. this was mid-july 2020 and was done in a drive-thru setting. though not painful, wasn't crazy about having a foot-long q-tip poked up my nose.

I'm sure I've had COVID, but I've never been diagnosed. Never tested for it either.
