The Downfall of Cultaholic Wrestling

Yesterday, Cultaholic Wrestling announced the layoff of their entire dedicated in-house editing team - 7 editors in all. I don't like to hear of anybody losing their jobs through no fault of their own, and I explore what the reasons are for why Cultaholic Wrestling's YouTube channel saw such a drastic drop off in viewership in 2025 to the point that they are having to make serious cutbacks just to survive.

Did they quote Dave Meltzer too much? Did they prefer AEW to WWE? Was it the mass exodus of long time presenters leaving the channel? Is it just that times and tastes change and wrestling fans want something different?

I believe it was, disappointing end to a rather...well, disappointing story.

Nah Cultaholic was its own thing, some of the dudes left What Culture and formed this shortly before WhatCulture shut down.

Yeah, but didn't they start as WhatCulture/Defiant, Dead?
