    It did happen to me too. I believe their algorithm got it wrong at that time. I have tried to use google ads, but I feel it's a pain for users and is not worth what they pay anymore.

    I put them as the situations arrive. Too many rules scares away users and I avoid them as much as possible.

    I like the posting packages option over any other. I also like the postings to be gradual to look and feel more natural.

    I really like forum's signature. I enjoy conversations while spreading my links. An advantage from many other methods is that I can update my signature once, and it's updated on every post :) On articles, many times those links gets outdated and sometimes you can't update them on other sites...

    I don't think the amount of staff matters as long as they are not overruling. It also depends what is the member base. Are they already used to hang around forums? or the majority of users are newbies? I was a newbie once, event though I didn't want to break rules, I was constantly getting...

    I had a fierce competition with a friend playing chess, we sat down to play chess a Friday afternoon and we finished asleep in front of the board the next Sunday around noon. That was crazy!
