    Army

I'm a Brit and one way and another there's plenty of military tradition in our history. Today our forces are somewhat diminished both by recruitment and budget limitations - though unlike some countries, Britain does still meet it's NATO obligations

    Forum Monetization

It's been many years since I last had my own forum and I've never had a forum busy enough to even think of making money from. For a while I did make a small amount from a sponsor of my topsite list - but even that was donated to childrens charities.

    Needle Phobia

I'm not phobic but don't like jabs. Certainly not nice when a nurse can't find the vein. Usually get told to drink plenty of water before going so's not to be dehydrated

Do you allow your pets on your bed?

When we had our cat, Benjamin, he'd often sleep on missus bat's pillow.

Have you ever taken in any stray animals?

This is my furry-friend Queenie. Before I retired I was working as a van driver and I came across Queenie one day when I stopped down a quiet lane by an abandonded builders yard to have my lunch. So sitting with the widow open eating my sandwich when I heard a loud "Mi-yah!!" not only did I...

Poland Welcomes Permanent U.S. Military Presence In Central Europe

I for one would certainly not spit on US forces. While I have the utmost respect for our own military, I would be the first to admit that Britain, even with the aid of Commonwealth forces, would never have had the might required for the D-Day landings and the subsequent push to Germany. I...

Poland Welcomes Permanent U.S. Military Presence In Central Europe

Even with the EU, Europe is incapable of acting as a unified military whole - and does anyone seriously think Putin will stop once Ukraine has been levelled to dust ?

SNP Plans Second Indy Ref, Breaking Their "Once in a Generation" Pledge From 2014

As stated in the thread title, Scotland was given a free referendum in 2014 to decide whether they wanted to stay part of the United Kingdom or not. The people of Scotland are not slaves, second class citizens, or otherwise unfairly subjugated, Scotland has an almost independant Assembly by...
